Editing blog for music video

 Today was my last day for creating the music video. I went to the Bamboo Forest and I got more photos than I even needed. You never occurred to me that five seconds it’s really short so I can’t like 20 seconds worth of footage driving down the forest. After that, I drove some more but this time I filmed in slow Mo. I stopped at a local merchant's where I found her chopping up Coconuts. I knew I needed to film her because when it came to editing this would be perfect for the video. I got a close-up of the locals drinking out of the coconut and while editing I thought about putting myself back to empathize with the taste of fresh water. I have yet to find a sound that didn’t sound too fake like a cartoon but more natural. The locals were nice enough to let me film them and they even got a film of mine. During the editing session that I did today, I had to brighten the lighting because some of the shots came out not as I expected. I got a 360 of the forest but since cars are coming at all angles I had to hurry up and film it. The shot was like three seconds so during editing I lengthened it out to seem longer than it was. I’m thinking about doing it in slow Mo because that might make the video look better. The forest was right by my grandfather's house so we stopped there to get more footage since he lived in the country with a lot of fruits. I got a video of him climbing the coconut tree and dropping down coconuts. During editing, I spread this part up and did a close-up shot. On our way home unfortunately we found out the power went out on the block. I was not able to finish my editing but I did not expect to me since I just finished filming today. The first part of my editing is done now I have to combine my first scene with my second scene. If I did not have to tell the story I would’ve kept the whole thing in the forest because of how beautiful it is. editing just the fourth little bit an amazing shot to take in the beauty of Jamaica. Her is a clip of me from today in the forest.   For this music video, I had to go through 30 minutes' worth of footage. For some of the footage, I realized slo-mo wasn't the best option for them because I had to end up speeding it up. When I sped them up, I added transitions to make sure it doesn't look choppy. When filming I made sure I had different camera angles and movements. In the beginning, I started with a birds-eye view by standing on top of the bed. My actor was sleeping and I was hoping to get the alarm ringing in the back of the music but it did not. Fast forward to the running shots this was to put in multiple angles and give off a calm vibe. Running is associated with having a good routine and being on track to wellness. The whole morning routine was to bring the audience along with me on my Jamaica morning routine during the lockdown. Filming Blog Music Video,

  Filming Blog   Over thanksgiving break I was complicating if I should film. Due to it being a holiday season, Jamaica curfew started earlier so if I was to go on the road and film, I might take awhile to come home. If you are caught out during curfew you have to pay a fine which was raised o $51 US dollars since it is the holiday time. My house was filled with family who stayed the week because we haven’t seen them at all during the two months we been here. My mom also took this break as an opportunity to bring us sight seeing in Jamaica since we didn’t have school. During break I came down with something. My throat was sore, nose was stuffy, and every time I talked I got a headache. I got tested for COVID since I was going to be around people and did not want to containment my family. This had been my fifth COVID test and it came back negative. Planning for my Music Video

 For my props, I will be using a Jamaica dress with the Rasta colors on it. The Rasta colors are red, green, yellow, and black. A hairstyle that connects to the culture is locs which I will also be wearing. The community will be in the background but due to corona I will not be interacting with them as much. The last prop I plan to use is fruits that remind you of Jamaica. 5     In my commercial, I will have one main person to focus on. The muse will have on a dress with slippers which is common for the culture here to wear. The muse will have no makeup on to give off a natural and fresh look that compliments the laid back video. Finally, the muse will wear a necklace with the Rasta colors on it and other beach like necklaces. 4 The main location for the video will be in Montgomery Bay, Jamaica which has more of a tourist area so I can capture the locals.
