 Filming Blog

Over thanksgiving break I was complicating if I should film. Due to it being a holiday season, Jamaica curfew started earlier so if I was to go on the road and film, I might take awhile to come home. If you are caught out during curfew you have to pay a fine which was raised o $51 US dollars since it is the holiday time. My house was filled with family who stayed the week because we haven’t seen them at all during the two months we been here. My mom also took this break as an opportunity to bring us sight seeing in Jamaica since we didn’t have school. During break I came down with something. My throat was sore, nose was stuffy, and every time I talked I got a headache. I got tested for COVID since I was going to be around people and did not want to containment my family. This had been my fifth COVID test and it came back negative. Don’t worry all my COVID tests before this one were to get approved to travel and we kept having to go back and do a new one since somethings always went wrong. Whatever I had cleared up in a few days so I began to film the first half of my music video. It was hard to find the perfect day to do it because it was all about someone’s morning routine. Due to it being break, everyone slept in till the afternoon and by then it was too late to film the video. The video was not filmed until Sunday because that’s family day. On Sunday’s everyone has to wake up early to help other breakfast and dinner. The first half of my video included my guest being woken up by their alarm. After that they bush their teeth and go on their morning run. Finally, the first half of the video ends with them gettin ready for their day on the road. The next half of the video will be filmed tomorrow since I’m taking a trip to the Bamboo forest. Here’s a photo of the weather I had to deal with.
